Hey, my name is Iris and I am the founder of Womens Gardening and I have actually never really been a gardener. Sure when I was a kid I’d play around in the garden or help out my neighbours with my little gardening toys, but that’s about it. Besides that, dirt was to jump and roll around in and not grow stuff.

Fast forward to now, and I definately still roll around in dirt, but this time it is to grow awesome cool things that I can either eat or simply just enjoy.

Why Womens Gardening?

I built this site as an outlet to help myself grow as a person along with my garden. This site is also here to help you … the reader and future gardener. And in real honesty, I doesn’t really matter if you’re a woman or a man-you are welcome here.
